Terms and conditions of sale
The works presented on this site are not sold online. Every acquisition begins with a conversation with the gallery, followed by an invoice and a certificate handed to the buyer.
Purpose. These terms govern the sale of works and advisory services by BECOFFI GALERIE, Galerie Ravenstein 46, 1000 Brussels.
Prices. Prices are provided upon request, in euros. The applicable VAT regime, including the special margin scheme for works of art, is stated on the invoice.
Orders. A work is reserved once the written agreement of the buyer and a deposit have been received. The sale is complete upon payment in full.
Delivery. Collection at the gallery is possible by appointment. Transport, packing, insurance and, where applicable, customs formalities and export licences are borne by the buyer unless otherwise agreed.
Right of withdrawal. For a purchase concluded at a distance by a consumer, the statutory fourteen-day withdrawal period applies under the conditions of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.
Authenticity. Each work comes with a certificate issued by the artist or by the gallery.
Governing law. Belgian law. Any dispute falls to the courts of the Brussels district.
