Woven rattan bust, brick-coloured, with light raffia rosettes sewn onto the torso and a raffia tassel, set on an orange base. Second of the three Rattan Bodies: the same form, a deeper shade, and the contrast of light raffia on dark rattan that brings out the embroidery. The sculpture is made by Louis Barthélemy with a cooperative of women artisans in Morocco, where basketry and raffia embroidery are skills handed down.
