A tucked diver falls towards the pool, in front of the stands, the palm trees and the diving board of a swimming pool, in a large octagonal panel. Blue and pink glass tesserae punctuate the lines of the structure, echoing the swimming pools painted by David Hockney that the title cites. A plaster fresco made by Louis Barthélemy with a Moroccan master craftsman, the largest of the plaster pieces on show.
